At Plasmatreat, innovation has been the focal point of our business since the company was founded. To date, developing new plasma technologies and applications has been our core objective. Day after day, we respond to our customers’ ideas and the challenges they face. In this way, we make an important contribution to the development of groundbreaking processes and products.
Over 10% of all Plasmatreat employees work in research and development.
Research and development at Plasmatreat encompasses the fields of physical fundamentals, electronics development, and process engineering. With this range, we can offer our customers and partners a broad spectrum of fundamentals from hardware development to chemistry, from a single company in the pretreatment surface treatment industry. In close cooperation with international research institutes and universities, we have been able to advance a large number of research projects.

Conventional sheet metal construction in automobile manufacturing is being replaced by new, lightweight techniques. Significant resources will be saved as a result. With plasma coating, new composite materials can be reliably bonded – even without solvent-based primers
