Plasmatreat: Expansion into Turkey

The new Plasmatreat sales office is located in Gardenya Plaza in the centre of the Ataşehir business district in Istanbul.
Istanbul, Gardenya Plaza No.3. In October Plasmatreat opened the premises of its new MEA sales office in a modern office complex in the Ataşehir district on the Asian side of the Bosphorus. With its position in Turkey’s largest city the office will act as the central contact point for industrial customers based throughout the Middle East and Central Asia.
The office includes a large laboratory facility. Equipped with various jet systems the most diverse components can be tested here for their adhesive properties or their ability to accept print or coatings. From small geometrically complex electrical components right up to planar large-area plastic panels their surface properties can be determined for customers after pretreatment with Openair® plasma.

Plasmatreat Rep. Office MEA is headed up by Hakan Sağkal. He is a chemical engineer who studied at the Bosphorus University, Istanbul, and after a long and successful career at Henkel (Turkey) moved to Plasmatreat to take over the position of President MEA.
Assisted by Sales Manager Aziz Karacan who worked for many years in Plasmatreat’s German headquarters, Hakan Sağkal will make it the top priority of his new office to open up the markets in his own country. Turkey is one of the largest national economies among the OECD countries. Industrial development is very prominent, especially in West Turkey. The important production centres for Openair® plasma technology are primarily the automotive, electrical and plastics sectors and also the appliances and textile industries.
