Plasmatreat and Bobst conclude partnership agreement
Plasmatreat and the market leader in folding box packaging machines, the Swiss company Bobst, have concluded an exclusive global agreement in the field of folding box gluing. As a result Bobst becomes the sole distributor of Openair® plasma technology in the folding box industry.
The exclusive arrangement with Plasmatreat immediately creates tangible economic benefits for Bobst customers. The amount of adhesive needed for laminated boxes can be cut and print costs on painted blanks can be reduced by saving on the recess on the adhesively bonded flaps – even at high production rates. In-line use in existing or new production plants is troublefree and environmentally friendly. Installation includes an interface for all Bobst or other folding box gluers. Surface pretreatment with Openair® plasma is an efficient concept for implementing customer-specific solutions.
