Plasmatreat goes China
New representative office established in Shanghai

Opening of the Plasmatreat branch office China in German Centre Shanghai
Shanghai - Right on time with the opening of "Chinaplas 2006", Plasmatreat opened its new representative office in the chinese metropolis. After five years of activity on the Asian market, the company has set up its base at a noble address: The new German Centre Shanghai, a subsidiary of BayernLB (State bank of Bavaria), lies in the 533 km² large economic zone Shanghai/Pudong and is located in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, in closest vicinity of the new exhibition centre, the transrapid, and the airport.
The continuously growing Chinese interest in Plasmatreat's patented "Openair®" plasma technology comes mainly from the mobile-phone and automotive industry. Car manufacturers, like e.g. Volkswagen Shanghai, use the innovative plasma method for the efficient and environmentally friendly pre-treatment of EPDM-profiles and headlight casings.
In the new location, the method's whole application range - that is, the activation, cleaning and coating of most different materials’ surfaces prior to further processing (printing, sticking, foaming) - can be presented to the interested clientele directly on the spot. For managing director Christian Buske, Shanghai is just the beginning of an entrepreneurial expansion strategy in one of the future most important markets of the global economy. Branch offices in Guangzhou and Beijing are already being planned.
