Plasmatreat’s Openair® plasma technology:
The innovative key technology for cleaning, activation and coating surfaces

Surface pretreatment

As a result of the use of Plasmatreat’s Openair® plasma technology the surface energies of plastics, metals or glass are multiplied by a significant factor. In this way the surfaces become receptive to process steps such as coating, applying print or adhesive bonding.

Quality and innovation

Due to its great range of potential uses Plasmatreat’s Openair® plasma technology is numbered among the key technologies in surface treatment. With it enduringly innovative solutions are created even today in practically all industrial fields of application. The use of our plasma technology results in very high levels of quality in the most varied products and product functionalities, while always guaranteeing a reliable and environmentally friendly sequence of operations in the process.

Plasmatreat’s Openair® plasma pretreatment allows selective modification of surface properties
  • Activation: extreme increase in surface wettability, formation of reactive surfaces
  • Cleaning: dust removal or degreasing, microcleaning and neutralization
  • Coating: rendering surfaces functional by coating them with additives
  • Improving adhesive properties
  • Improving the durability and reliability of adhesive joints
