The Düstec plasma system can be used to cleanly process a wide variety of thermoplastic edge materials such as PP, ABS, PVC and PMMA. Edging material manufacturers provide edge bands with functional layers designed for various different applications in the furniture industry. Perfect colour matching of decorative and functional layers makes joints virtually invisible.

Plasma technology uses an alternative source of energy for zero-joint technology. It is effective and can easily be adapted to a variety of different edge bands.

All types of edging material – whether co-extruded or precoated – can be processed with the Düstec plasma system.
