Fully automatic contact angle measurement to determine surface tension
The PG-X Pocket Goniometer is a compact instrument used to measure the contact angle on almost all surfaces, such as table tops, car roofs or bumpers, glass bottles or metal cans. The results are a reliable basis for the evaluation and control of various parameters, such as wettability (printing, painting or coating), adhesion ability (gluing) or surface contamination (ultrafine cleaning).
The PG-X tests automatically without sample preparation. Simply place the device on the surface of the object to be tested and press the button. The internal pump dispenses a precisely metered droplet onto the test surface. The built-in camera takes a video sequence of the droplet and the results are presented as static contact angles or dynamic wetting and penetration functions.
