2022 is K-Show year and Plasmatreat is already providing insights into the latest developments in plastic surface treatment. Whether using fresh or recycled material, injection molding, 3D printing or breaking new ground with reinforced plastics. Plasmatreat has answers to many new application fields that make working life easier.

The treatment with Openair- Plasma® brings about a targeted, site-selective change in surface properties. In industrial applications, this improves adhesion and normally incompatible polymers can be reliably bonded. Dr. Alexander Knospe demonstrates the possibilities of plasma treatment in the plastics industry and provides insights into the function and advantages of this technology.

If activation alone is not sufficient, the surface can be coated with PlasmaPlus® technology, in which a special nanolayer is applied to provide new functionalities. This offers new material combinations and applications.

After attending this PlasmaTalk, you will know more about:

  • Openair-Plasma® - what does it do on the plastic surface?
  • PlasmaPlus® technology and the increased field of material application
  • Examples of industrial applications
  • Environmental benefits of using Openair- Plasma®

This no-charge PlasmaTalk is aimed at research, development and quality control personnel as well as designers, process engineers and operators of production equipment in industrial processes.

The PlasmaTalk will last approximately 40-60 minutes plus a question-and-answer session.
If you have a specific question, please send it in advance to academy@plasmatreat.de so that we can incorporate it into the program.
