Even today, people still talk about the dashboard, although cars have not been equipped with them for decades. Today's dashboards in modern cars consist of many displays and touchscreens and are supplied with input from a variety of sensors and cameras. However, the installation of these devices is associated with many challenges.There are many ways you can optimize your process with Openair-Plasma®. With this technology you can pretreat your product, prepare it and protect it against external influences. For example, the first step involves cleaning the surface with Openair-Plasma® to remove impurities or activate surfaces.

If this is not enough, the substrate can be coated with PlasmaPlus® technology which adds a special nano layer on the surface providing new functionalities. By applying this, stable bonding and printing results can be achieved – without using primers! Openair-Plasma® can be a game changer and enables completely new ways of production.

In this PlasmaTalk, Norman Haas, technical sales at Plasmatreat, explains the advantages of atmospheric plasma treatment and the results on many different materials.
