Modern honeycomb-structured, lightweight PP panels are used for all types of structures in vehicle manufacturing. The main advantage is high stability at a fraction of the weight of conventional sandwich panels.

Achieving a uniform, wide-area pretreatment of fiber-reinforced PP facings presents something of a challenge – especially when manufacturers are striving to be efficient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly in equal measure.

Openair® rotary nozzles enable panels over 3m wide to be treated at speeds of up to 25m/min.
