As our latest generation of plasma systems showcased at the K2013 plastics trade show demonstrated, we have hit the mark in terms of market requirements and expectations.
Nowadays, processes are often designed right to the very limits of feasibility, making it almost impossible to increase throughput speeds or volumes; but changeover times and interruptions for maintenance and service are a constant theme. We have developed ways of optimizing these processes:
The new PFW30 plasma nozzle systems, for wrapping furniture profiles and for head lamp applications, have been designed for speed and ease of replacement.
All spare parts can easily be replaced without using special tools.
Our equipment is so advanced that the nozzle position can be automatically adjusted on all 24 axes of an 8-nozzle system when changing formats.
By selecting a predetermined nozzle configuration in relation to the profile, nozzle repositioning is completed in seconds.
Nozzle positioning data can even be transmitted to the main computer system.
Fewer personnel required for changeover and greater repeatability result in cost savings and enhanced quality assurance.
