Inform – network – share knowledge. The new Plasmatreat Tech Days are generating a great deal of interest in professional circles. The idea behind this series of events is that external experts give valuable insights into the latest developments in industries such as automotive engineering, aerospace or medical engineering with the aim of knowledge sharing.
Reproducible process sequences, high system reliability, low manufacturing tolerances, stable quality levels and data-supported automation are common process specifications in today's electronics production.
To promote the use of plasma technology within the electronics manufacturing industry, Plasmatreat USA, Inc. is launching a new online service for interested parties and existing customers in January 2020. This service intents to make it as easy as possible to start using Openair-Plasma and to show its benefits with a short demonstration.
In Steinhagen, headquarter of Plasmatreat GmbH, the new technology and research center was officially opened on October 30th. The Plasma Campus will provide an ideal location for research and applications of plasma technology, as well as for accompanying conferences and training programs.
Activation of Plastics by Openair-Plasma® (2) - Expansion of the application range for various plastics
The treatment with Openair-Plasma® brings about a targeted, site-selective change in surface properties. In industrial applications, this improves adhesion and normally incompatible polymers can be reliably bonded. Dr. Alexander Knospe demonstrates the possibilities of plasma treatment in the plastics industry and provides insights into the function and advantages of this technology
