Plasma technology is used in a wide range of industrial processes. With this technology, it is possible to modify the properties and functions of a variety of surfaces. Whether it is to optimize a surface for further processing or to apply a multi-functional layer to the surface using the PlasmaPlus® process. Atmospheric pressure plasma (Openair-Plasma®) is cost-effective to generate, environmentally friendly and easy to monitor using various parameters.
Process measurement integrated into the industrial process is a particular challenge: On the one hand, surface changes are small and therefore difficult to detect, and on the other hand, suitable analytical instruments can be very expensive or have long measurement times. In addition, reliable verification of coating thickness and composition is critical for the evaluation of coating quality.
Join our PlasmaTalk and discover the possibilities for a reliable quality and process control in surface pretreatment. From ellipsometry, reflectometry and X-ray fluorescence analysis to laser fluorescence and infrared spectroscopy, various methods for surface analysis will be presented and their advantages and disadvantages for use in the inline process will be evaluated.
Our expert, Dr. Alexander Knospe, will not only introduce you to the various methods for process monitoring, but will also show you which method is the right one for your specific process. Take the opportunity to gain an insight into the various methods and look forward to an outlook with further possibilities for the future.
The PlasmaTalk will last approximately 40 - 60 minutes, plus a question-and-answer session. If you have a specific question, please send it in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can incorporate it into the program.
