In this practice-oriented training course, participants receive a compact overview of the fundamentals of plasma technology and its application in atmospheric pressure plasma CVD.

The theoretical part covers the physical fundamentals of plasma, reaction mechanisms, coating systems, and typical areas of application such as corrosion protection and adhesion promotion. Participants also learn about process control, parameter settings, and methods for coating analysis.

In the practical part, participants operate the PlasmaPlus® system themselves, carry out setup and coating tests, and can directly observe the effect of plasma on their own or provided components. This allows the transfer from theory to application to be experienced and taught in a practical manner.

Seminar contents

  • From the phenomenon of plasma technology to the basics of the process
  • Application examples, references, and safety aspects
  • Surface analysis for quality control
  • Practical experiments in the training laboratory
  • Application of Openair Plasma® – also on your own components
