If plasma processes are to run stably in the production line, it is not enough to simply purchase “a system.” The decisive factor is the interaction between the entire system, our generator, nozzle, process monitoring, and finally the surface inspection. That is precisely what this PlasmaTalk is about.

You will get a clear overview of how the Plasmatreat portfolio for Openair-Plasma® is structured and what is important when making your selection, depending on the material, geometry, cycle time, and quality requirements.

Contents

  • Openair-Plasma® systems in practice: typical inline applications, for example control housings, plastic parts, panels, profiles, and also metal surfaces in coil coating, as well as robotics solutions for integration into existing lines.
  • Generators: which generator families are available (e.g., FG5001, FG5001S, FG5002/FG5005, FG5002S/FG5005S) and what this means for process monitoring, control, and diagnostics.
  • Jet logic: Static plasma jets vs. rotary systems and why this makes a real difference for narrow profiles or larger working widths. Examples: Compare PFW10 with RD1004 and RD2010 with PFW70/PFW100.
  • Process monitoring and PCU: from optical monitoring to modular control via PCU, including regulation and monitoring (e.g., gas flow, rotation, plasma power, pressure).

Who is PlasmaTalk for?

For production, process development, industrial engineering, quality, maintenance, and technical purchasing departments that need to select, scale, or stabilize Openair-Plasma®. Especially if you have a wide variety of variants and tight cycle times, but still need reproducible results.

Why this PlasmaTalk?

Because a broad portfolio can quickly lead to wrong decisions: the wrong nozzle, the wrong level of monitoring, unnecessary complexity, or ultimately a solution that is not robust enough for everyday use. In this talk, we organize the building blocks so that you can make targeted selections and know which questions are really crucial.
